I'm Lou, a sound engineer and music producer based in Southampton, UK.

In the studio, my priority is helping artists capture their best performances and bring their creative vision to life. I offer a full range of production services — including engineering, editing, producing and mixing — always with a focus on quality whilst enjoying the experience of recording.

My musical foundation began with classical guitar, achieving Grade 8 and developing a deep understanding of music theory and composition. This foundation, combined with a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of Southampton, allows me to bring a knowledge base to assist on arragements, especially with writing harmonies.

Having performed in bands across genres — from acoustic folk to alt-rock, post-hardcore, and metalcore — I understand both sides of the studio glass. That hands-on experience means I can communicate fluently with artists, anticipate creative needs, and help translate raw ideas into powerful, polished recordings.

Since joining The Ranch Production House, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of artists, specialising in rock, metal, folk, and country. I take pride in building a relaxed, collaborative environment where artists feel confident to experiment and push boundaries. Every project is an opportunity to craft something sonically striking, emotionally honest, and unmistakably yours.
