I'm Lou, a sound engineer and music producer based in Southampton, UK.

My journey began as a classical guitarist, where I achieved Grade 8 and developed a solid foundation in music theory. This musical background paved the way for my studies at the University of Southampton, where I earned a BA (Hons) in Music.

From my teenage years, I’ve been immersed in a variety of genres, playing in bands ranging from acoustic folk to alt-rock, post-hardcore, and metalcore. This hands-on experience in performance, combined with my academic background, has given me a unique perspective on both the technical and creative sides of music production.

Since graduating, I’ve been honing my skills at The Ranch Production House, a renowned studio in Southampton. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with artists across a wide range of genres, but I specialise in rock, metal, folk, and country music. I pride myself on my ability to create high-quality engineering from the ground up, ensuring a polished and professional sound. Above all, I focus on fostering a comfortable and collaborative environment for artists, helping them to bring out their best work during the creative process.
